Erik Taylor is excited to be in his 7th season as director of Elite Energy.  Taylor is a Mississippi native and obtained a degree of Music Education from Delta State University in Cleveland, MS and Masters of Educational Leadership from Bethel University in Nashville, TN.   Taylor’s previous work experience includes a 6-year tenure as choral director at Woodstock Middle/High School in Memphis, TN.  Taylor is also the co-owner of 1Vision Productions and serves as the organist for Greater Northside Missionary Baptist Church in Decatur, IL. 

Under his direction, Elite Energy has accumulated several captions and placement awards including:  12 Best Band, 11 Best Vocals, 7 Best Choreography, and 9 Grand Champion awards!



Samual Mulligan is a Pop/R&B recording artist based out of Nashville, Tennessee. Samual most recently released his debut album and continues to write, record, and perform while in Music City. Originally from central Illinois, Sam was a graduated of Mt. Zion High School as well as an alumni of the Swingsations. Along with being an artist and songwriter, Sam is also a freelance choreographer for many different show choir programs across the Midwest. He’s lucky enough to choreograph for three incredible groups right in his hometown, Decatur Elite Energy & Collective Sound, and Mt. Zion Sound System.
