VISION & MISSION
Foster personal growth in Decatur area 5th-12th graders through the performing arts; focusing on the following elements: understanding healthy vocal technique, learning choreography skills in varying genres, and promoting proper stage etiquette.
-Decatur Show Choir Complex will offer a unique experience of high-quality music and performance opportunities.
-Decatur Show Choir Complex seeks to engage ALL 5th-12th graders in the greater Decatur community through music regardless of race, color, religion, gender, gender expression, disability, economic background, or sexual orientation.
-Participants of Decatur Show Choir Complex will not only acquire skills in music education and performance, they will also learn how to work as a team, learn to be self-confident, follow through with commitment, and learn how to manage a personal schedule.
-Decatur Show Choir Complex offers the opportunity for students to build lifelong relationships with their peers and with others who share the same passion for performing across the country.
ABOUT ELITE ENERGY
Elite Energy is a competitive show choir based in Decatur, IL and is comprised of high school students who reside within Macon County. As a well respected group in the show choir world, Elite Energy is happy to continue its 32 year tradition!
